Ailine Liefeld was born in 1981 in Hennigsdorf, a small town close to Berlin. During her school days she did many possible arts, like painting, drawing, photography, acting and fashion design.

After experiencing the job of a picture editor in Hamburg's Gruner+Jahr publishing company, she moved back to Berlin in 2002. Until 2004 she did a media and web design training. From August 2004 until July 2007 she studied photography and now works and lives as a freelance photographer and webdesigner in Berlin.

While she likes to take pictures of everything in her life, her main photographic subjects are architecture and fashion/lifestyle portraits. She also does enjoy creating CSS and Flash based Websites.
